What is the difference between cajeta, caramel, and dulce de leche?
The difference between cajeta and other caramel sauces such as caramel and dulce de leche is that cajeta is made out of goat’s milk whereas most others are usually made out of cow’s milk.

How to store the product? Do I have to refrigerate the product?
You can store Josefa in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight or in your fridge. More importantly, we recommend properly closing the lid when you are not using the product. If you refrigerate Josefa, it'll be thicker and harder to scoop out of the jar. However, if you like the texture, go ahead. 

When does my product expire?
Your product will keep for about eighteen months or so as long as you store it properly. 

Can I recycle the jars?
Of course! Remove the labels and wash them thoroughly. You can then use our jars to store your homemade jam, fresh herbs, trinkets, and so much more.
